Pythagoras is a large geometric-inspired stole. It is an easy project, but captivating because of its unique construction. It allows you to use your leftover stocking yarn, your solitary skeins or even an advent calendar. Guaranteed fun!


Size
Approximately 30 x 180 cm.


Sample
24 stitches and 40 rows = 10 x 10 cm in garter stitch knitted with 4 mm / US 6 needles.


Threads used
You will need approximately 260g of fingering weight yarn in a minimum of 5 different colours. This is the perfect project to use up leftover yarn, single skeins or a mini skein advance calendar.

The shawl has a total of 26 sections. Be creative; you can use 26 different colors or use some colors more than once.

  • Large squares (3) use about 30g.
  • Small squares (10) use about 7g.
  • Large triangles (9) use about 15g.
  • Small triangles (4) use about 5g.

Needles and accessories
4mm / US 6 circular needles.
Stitch markers and yarn needle.
